Before joining Kostelanetz & Fink, Ms. Memon worked as a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she specialized in international taxation. In her role, she advised on and conducted research into cutting edge planning strategies; drafting opinions on the international tax consequences of novel proposed transactions; and writing letters on behalf of clients with respect to proposed IRS guidance.
Ms. Memon holds a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Queens University.
In addition to Ms. Memon’s externship with Kostelanetz & Fink, during her time at Georgetown Law, she was a research assistant to the current deputy assistant secretary for multilateral tax at the Department of the Treasury. Additionally, Ms. Memon served as Articles Editor on the Georgetown Journal of International Law. She also completed a tax externship at Jones Day, a role where she focused primarily on M&A issues. At Queens University, Ms. Memon was a member of the Varsity Field Hockey team.
