Two Georgetown Law School Students Complete Their K&F Externships

This Fall, K&F hosted two students completing Georgetown Law School’s LLM program in tax law.  Sarah McIntosh and Sadi Moradi joined us as externs while they studied post-graduate level tax law at Georgetown.  Ms. McIntosh expects to earn her LLM this Spring and has previously interned at the Office of the Attorney General of South Carolina.  After graduation, Ms. McIntosh will be joining the PwC national tax office in Washington DC.  Mr. Moradi also expects to graduate Georgetown with an LLM and an Estate Planning Certification this Spring.  He previously interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., as an equity derivatives analyst.  Mr. Moradi will be joining BakerHostetler for his Spring 2021 internship.  While working with K&F, Ms. McIntosh focused on criminal tax matters, and Mr. Moradi analyzed recently released international tax regulations.  Ms. McIntosh and Mr. Moradi both worked under the supervision of K&F Counsel Robert Russell.  Mr. Russell is himself an alumnus of the Georgetown LLM program, and, for the past two years, has been co-teaching International Tax Controversy there as an Adjunct Professor with K&F Partner Caroline Ciraolo.  K&F is appreciative of the work of Molly Jackson, Director of Georgetown Law School’s LL.M. Externship Program and Amrita Singh, the Assistant Director of Georgetown’s Office of Graduate Careers, in making these externships possible.
