On August 25, 2022, Michael Sardar moderates a panel entitled, “The IRS Exam Process and Pitfalls for Taxpayers” for the 2022 Forensic Accounting Summit: Forensic Accounting and Reconstruction.

Panel Description: What do you do when your “routine” exam is no longer routine? This panel will review the usual audit process and discuss pitfalls that can arise, like indications of fraud, other crimes or false documents. The panel will also review what happens when it goes off the rails and what the practitioner can do to keep it moving in the right direction.
