Claude M. Millman Quoted In Law360 Article Entitled “NYC Says Nonprofit Lacks Standing To Halt Labor Peace Law”

Claude M. Millman was quoted in an article in Law360 concerning pro bono litigation filed by Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP, on behalf of the Human Services Council of New York against the City of New York. The article said: “Claude M. Millman of Kostelanetz & Fink LLP, who represents HSC, told Law360 on Wednesday that the court’s power to enjoin the city from enacting problematic laws cannot be reduced to semantics,” and that “the city, which he said has unlimited resources to operate its department, can’t comprehend how much of a distraction the law has become for small organizations with slim staffs.” The article also said: “‘We don’t think that [the City’s] brief in any way diminishes the showing of standing that HSC presented in its brief and sworn declarations,’ Millman said.”

The article, entitled “NYC Says Nonprofit Lacks Standing To Halt Labor Peace Law,” is available here.

K&F’s litigation team on this case includes Millman, Caroline Rule, Usman Mohammad, Michelle Lee, and Destiny Reese.
