Claude M. Millman Quoted In Law360 Article Entitled “More Nonprofits Join Suit Over NYC Labor Peace Law”

Claude M. Millman was quoted in an article in Law360 concerning pro bono litigation filed by Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP, on behalf of the Human Services Council of New York against the City of New York. The article discusses how, in a recently filed amended complaint, ten additional non-profits joined the Human Services Council as plaintiffs in the lawsuit. The article said: “In a statement to Law360 on Tuesday, HSC’s attorney Claude Millman said the 10 plaintiffs were added to the suit after U.S. District Judge Paul G. Gardephe raised concerns about whether the nonprofit ‘was an appropriate plaintiff’ to bring the associational and direct standing claims. ‘We are confident that, with the addition of these 10 aggrieved organizations, the issues raised about HSC’s standing will be put aside, and the court will be well positioned to reach the merits of the dispute,’ Millman said.”
