Georgetown Law School LLM Externship

Kostelanetz LLP welcomes applications from students enrolled in the Tax LLM program at Georgetown University Law Center for the firm’s Externship Program. The firm seeks qualified candidates on a year-round basis, meaning that applications for the Externship Program are open for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Participants in the Externship Program are eligible to receive academic credit from Georgetown Law School.

Kostelanetz LLP partners with Georgetown University Law Center to provide fall and spring externships for students pursuing their Tax LL.M.

Externs spend 11 weeks providing critical legal support to supervising tax attorneys and are provided with opportunities to gain hands-on experience with tax controversy, tax advice, international tax compliance, and transactional tax planning. Externs are additionally provided with opportunities for formal mentorship, as well as research, professional writing, and observation.

he Kostelanetz Extern Program is overseen by Partner and Georgetown University Law Center Adjunct Professor Caroline D. Ciraolo. The program is additionally supported by associates Dan Davidson and Heather Fincher.

Alumni of the Kostelanetz Extern Program have gone on to work at consulting and accounting firms, law firms, and the Internal Revenue Service.
